Vintage Pioneer Stereophone/Sterephone SH100 Pick Up/Tone Arm NOS

This is a very nice and novel Vintage Pioneer Stereoscope/Sterephone SH100 Pick Up/Tone Arm NOS. You rarely see these for sale, and certainly not as boxed new old stock.

In unused condition, perfect for the audiophile collector. The tone arm is thought to date to the 1960s/70s and come with its original paperwork (in Japanese) and box. The arm is very prettily tied in to the box with the original green ribbon: I haven't tried to remove the stereoscope from the cardboard in the box.

This acoustic stereophonic tonearm operates on the principle of a stethoscope. The sound vibrations are transmitted directly to the ears via a stethoscope style headphones: no amp required! A very novel design, (see image below), I've no idea what the sound reproduction must be like...
