This is a pair of 1960s Asahi Pentax Binoculars Model N0.556 8x40 Wide Field For Spares Or Repairs.
In distressed condition, with surface scuffs/paint loss commensurate with age and use. They are partially working but in need of some work. Sold for spares or repairs only.
Issues include:
The left lens doesn't seem to focus properly
One of the screw threads on the front is missing
'O' rings are split on the eye pieces
The optics are dusty
There may be other issues which I haven't mentioned; please see images
