A lovely 1930s Royal Doulton Dickens Ware Mr Pickwick 4 Inch Fluted Trinket Dish. Pattern Number D5175 Signed By Noke.
Beautifully printed with a street scene including the character ‘Mr Pickwick’ from Charles Dickens’ ‘Pickwick Papers.’
This small trinket dish is in very good condition with vibrant colours and no chips, cracks or restoration. It does have manufacturing defects including bubbles and pinholes, and slight crazing.
It is stamped on the base with the pattern number D5175, (which dates to 1932), and Mr Pickwick. It also has the printed Royal Doulton Backmark for the 1930s.
Approximate Size: 4" diameter
It would make a wonderful trinket dish/berry bowl as well as being highly decorative and very collectible!
