What did the youth of the 1920s do as hobbies before the advent of mobile phones, Wii, and X-boxes? The answer is they built and played with wireless technology, as described in this wonderful 1920s 'The Boys Wireless book.' An early amateur radio book providing a plethora of information on problem solving, aerials and receiving sets.

This would make a great present for a Radio Ham/ amateur radio enthusiast or lover of vintage technology. It was published only a year after the BBC radio broadcasting tests at Marconi House, London (radio station 2LO) in 1922, and the BBC's inaugural radio news bulletin read by Mr Arthur Burrows, who is featured in this book.
